The book I chose to read was The Silver Eyes by Scott Cawthon and Kira Breed-Wrisely. So far I dislike the book for the most part. I do appreciate the descriptive words the authors use which makes the story easier to visualize, however, I often find myself not excited to read my book. I’m an avid reader so it’s not simply because I dislike reading, I just don’t find the story interesting so far. It could be because of the expectations I had for it because I like the franchise the book is from. So, when I read the book I expected the story to tie in with lore which I feel made me more confused when reading. Overall, I think the story could be interesting if I didn’t already have an expectation on what the story was going to be like.
