Even though I am not an avid reader, I continue to approach many types of books with curiosity. My history with books has been by discovering new genres, or any books in general that intrigue me. My favorite genre of books ever since I have started reading has been suspenseful books.

However, reading was more challenging than usual. An example that I think is best for this happened when I was in the 7th grade. It was when it was time to begin literature, and when I looked at the pages we were going to read, it was as if I was looking at a foreign language, because it was Shakespeare stories and poetry. Though there was some good in this. Even though I couldn’t even pronounce the words correctly when I was chosen to read, the context of the text became clear when the teacher explained it.

A couple days ago, I chose to read the book GooseBumps: Night of the Living Dummy by R.L. Stine, but I think it might be a good book for me to read because I have watched all or majority of the Goosebumps movies, and I also think it is a good book because it has a humorous but a suspenseful storyline.
