My Reading History

My history as a reader started ever since I was around 3 years old. My mom always made sure that we read something that interested my sisters and me. The first book series that actually interested me was the “Junie B Jones” series. I do love to read despite how I come off. I enjoy mystery, fantasy, nonfiction, fiction, and romance books. I really love books that have lore behind it and an enjoyable character line up. I also like humor in books because if a book is too serious or nonchalant, I’ll lose interest in it easily.
Some challenges that I’ve had with reading in the past are keeping focus on it, reading a class book and I have to wait on others to finish it, and reading a series when I haven’t even read the first book at all. I didn’t add this to the list but another big challenge I have with reading is when I’m assigned a book and its boring to the point that I don’t even want to read it.
The book that I chose was “Bird Box” by Josh Malerman. I picked it because it’s interesting and I’ve heard of it, but I never watched it, so I wanted to read it first.
