I do not read as much as I would like, but I enjoy reading. The types of books that I enjoy reading are adventurous, mystery, and romance. Personally, I dislike when authors leave out or add too much information. This can make me wonder about specifics that they might have left out and lose the main point of the story due to excess information.
When I read the book Animal Farm, I did not enjoy it because the plot did not keep me engaged. The book was mainly about animals on a farm who over through the mean farmer, but ended up with the same problem because of prideful, power-hungry pigs. To me, it felt like a pointless book to read, even though it had a truthful message.
The book that I chose is Anne of Green Gables by L.M. Montgomery. I picked this book because I have been trying to finish it all summer, and I watched the movies in sixth grade. I cannot wait to finish it!
