As a reader history is important because we should understand how older writers wrote things and the techniques they used. I do not read a lot, but I don’t have a problem with reading. The type of books I like to read are romance, fantasy, and thriller. But then again, I am open to almost any kind of genre.
One of the problems I have with reading is that I find it to be quite annoying. Another problem I have with reading is that I get distracted easily and can’t focus on a book for a long amount of time. A book has to be really good for me to actually consider reading it, because I am very picky when it comes to books.
The book I picked was Stardust by Neil Gaiman. I chose this book because the overview seemed like something I would enjoy reading. It’s a fairytale with some humor involved, it is also a romance, those are almost all of my favorite genres put into one book. I haven’t gotten too far into the book so I hope the further I get into the book the more, and more I will start to like it.
