I often read chapter books when I was in sixth grade, but nowadays I don’t read as much as I used to. The main reason why I don’t read as much could be how picky I choose my books. I don’t have a favorite genre of books, instead I enjoy reading books that will keep me engaged and it stays consistent with their plot.
There are two challenges when I read a book. The first challenge is to start reading, or to continue reading my book on my own time. I like reading my book, but I also like talking to friends, playing my video game, or watching television. I will read my book if I have nothing to do, like before I go to sleep. Another challenge while reading is to stay focused on the book I will zone out or do not process what is happening in the story when I read.
I picked the book World War Z by Max Brooks because I heard of the movie, and I’m interested in zombie warfare.
